The AIPTIA Story

In the early 1970’s few individuals owning photo studios in the Fort Area of Mumbai, having felt the need to come together, to look into and take care of the interests of people connected to photographic trade, formed a Photographic Dealers Association (PDA). The PDA was born on 21st June, 1973 with a membership of 25 traders. With the growth and activites gradually progressing and entrepreneurs from the Photographic Industry also enrolling as Members of the Association, it was rechristened as All India Photographic Trade.

Our Association

The association has its own office premises in a prominent place in the Fort area of Mumbai. It has its website www.aiptia.org to cater the members and the Industry & Trade better. The Association has successfully conducted workshops and Seminars in the field of photography, Works Contract Tax Act and Service Tax, bringing in experts to deliver speeches. With these achievements in its stride, the Association marches ahead with a view to target further goals in the interest of its members in general and the Nation in particular.
